Jesse Lloyd is a partner at BLMT Immigration Law (Bean, Lloyd, Mukherji, & Taylor, LLP) and a Certified Specialist in Immigration & Nationality Law through the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He practices exclusively immigration law, representing individuals, families, and businesses in matters ranging from removal defense and humanitarian relief to naturalization and family-based immigration.

Over the course of his career, Jesse has represented clients before the Department of Homeland Security, immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and federal courts—often in situations where the outcome carries life-changing consequences for individuals and families. His approach combines careful legal strategy with direct, honest communication, helping clients understand both the challenges ahead and the options available to them.

In addition to his client work, Jesse has remained deeply involved in the immigration legal community through leadership, mentorship, and advocacy. He has served in multiple roles with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), local bar associations, and California’s immigration specialization advisory council, where he helped evaluate and support future certified specialists in immigration law. He also regularly contributes to continuing legal education programs, attorney trainings, and professional discussions on immigration law and policy.

Although based in California, Jesse also spent several years practicing in New York, where he successfully litigated a precedent-setting case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. That experience continues to shape his approach to complex immigration matters—grounded in preparation, persistence, and the belief that even difficult cases deserve thoughtful advocacy and a clear strategy.

Jesse has been recognized as a California Super Lawyer since 2013 and remains active in community and nonprofit efforts supporting immigrant communities.
