Damian Castro Caravez is an senior associate attorney at BLMT Immigration Law (Bean, Lloyd, Mukherji, & Taylor, LLP), where he focuses exclusively on immigration law with an emphasis on family-based immigration, humanitarian relief, and advocacy for immigrant communities.

Prior to joining BLMT, Damian served as a fellow with the University of California Immigrant Legal Services Center, where he represented UC Davis students and their immediate family members in family-based and humanitarian immigration matters. During that time, he also organized Know Your Rights presentations and provided immigration trainings for university faculty and staff.

Before his fellowship, Damian completed multiple internships focused on immigration law with Catholic Charities of the East Bay and the UC Immigrant Legal Services Center, experiences that helped shape his community-centered and client-focused approach to immigration advocacy.

Damian earned his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law and received his B.A. from UC Davis with concentrations in Political Science and History. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association Northern California Chapter and the California Bar.

As the child of immigrants and a Spanish-speaking attorney, Damian brings both personal understanding and professional dedication to his work with individuals and families navigating the immigration system.
